About myself My name is Geoff Capes and I have over 12 years experience as an instructor. I am a fully qualified Grade 4 Approved Driving Instructor and I only teach on automatic cars - all day every day. I am a member of the MSA and hold an IAM certificate if you want to learn advanced driving. I'll give you patient and reliable tuition geared around getting you up to standard to pass your test, along with guidance on the Theory and new Perception tests. You must pass these tests before taking your practical test. In case you are uncertain, you can still take lessons before passing your theory or perception tests. Having passed them, you have two years to take and pass your practical test. If you are nervous about driving, that's understandable and I will make you feel at ease as you gradually gain more confidence. I have also taught overseas drivers needing to take the UK test, so if you need to get used to driving on the left or just things new to you in the UK (for example roundabouts), I can help.
